Legendary Pictures wants to develop yet another remake of Godzilla. Well actually they've been mulling this since a few years already. It would be a live-action film with CGI Godzilla, possibly in 3D. David Goyer (The Dark Knight) previously worked on a script for the new remake, but Max Borenstein has since taken over the script. I heard that Director Gareth Edwards (who helmed the sci-fi film Monsters) is attached to the project. The idea for the remake is to approach the film and its characters in the most authentic manner possible. Also there will be other or monsters, that Godzilla will fight.

I wouldn't mind watching a new Godzilla movie in 3D. Can't say am much impatient, but am curious to see how it would turn out.
The film is listed for a release in 2014 by IMDb, but well, not much happened so far, so don't get your hopes up too high.
